Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Sets carts with supplies and food for cooks, bakers, salads, cafeteria, catering, etc. in an accurate and timely manner, following established protocol
- Ensures the quality of all food products produced in the storeroom, preparing food according to recipe
- Follows guidelines for the receiving and storing of foods and supplies as outlined by the Department of Public Health
- Ensures the cleanliness of the storeroom as outlined by the Department of Public Health
- Ensures that timely deliveries are made to the satellite locations on schedule
- Retrieves supplies from other locations in the absence of the Driver and under the direction of the Supervisor
- Assists in the completion of all inventories
- Alerts supervisors to problems and needs regarding shortages of food and supplies
- Maintains the cleanliness of all vehicles and transport boxes
- Inventories freezer on a regular basis
- Orders produce and supplies in the absence of the supervisor
