Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Cleans meal carts after last meal period and ensures plugs are in carts before each meal
- Removes trash from kitchen and cleans floors per assignment
- Delivers carts to patient floors in specified order, picks up trays on floors and returns carts to dishroom, Loads trays and provides assistance to trayline when needed.
- Cleans trays by scrapping trays while wearing gloves, checks trays for silverware and soaking silverware, and catches and stores clean dishes per assignment
- Leaves dishroom in clean and organized manner
- Receives and places stock in assigned areas
