Thriving Endo/Diabetes Practice and Huntsville Hospital seek a BC/BE Endocrinologist to join them!
Drs. Johnson and Cowart started this lucrative practice in 1998 and are in need of an additional physician to accommodate a growing community. Partnership track for one year. Call is 1:3. There are 10 employees on staff and no physician extenders at this time. Each physician is seeing approximately 40 patients per day and accepting new patients. Incoming physician will have no problem getting established as there are not many endocrinologists in the area and the waiting period for new patients is approximately two months. Current office space is located in a medical professional building adjacent to the hospital and has six exam rooms, Oceris FlexMedical EMR, ultrasound and EKG. Path lab is located in the same building, and the hospital is attached by a pedestrian bridge. Huntsville Hospital is one of the largest non-profit health care systems in the nation (with 881 beds), serving all of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee, a catchment area of approximately 1.2 million people. This provides the group access to a large base of patients supported by a referral base of 170+ primary care physicians.
