CPR & Advanced Life Support Classes
Huntsville Hospital's Corporate University is the home of north Alabama’s largest certified American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center. The Training Center staff provides a full range of CPR and life-saver courses to both hospital employees and the community. Through its years of operation, the AHA Training Center has consistently been recognized by the National Safety Council with awards for Best Performance in CPR Training. In May 2005, Corporate University’s AHA Training Center won the Certificate of Excellence from the American Heart Association.
We provide a comprehensive range of life support classes.
Students will receive BLS during their ACLS/PALS course. You will need to prepare by reading the BLS study guide (see above). You will have to demonstrate your BLS skills and take the written exam.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA, and any fees charged for such a course are not intended for the AHA.
