Cardiac Rehabilitation is a 12 week, medically supervised, exercise and education program to enhance the recovery of the cardiac patient. This reconditioning program includes monitored exercise 3 days a week and educational classes. It is a physician referral program tailored to the individual's needs. Most insurance plan's recognize the importance of participation in a cardiac rehab. Check your insurance for your specific coverage.
Upon diagnosis of the cardiac problem or after discharge from the hospital, call the Cardiac Rehab Department (located at the Heart Center, 930 Franklin St.) at (256) 265-7143 to schedule an appointment for the orientation.
Cardiac Rehab Class Scehdule
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
6 a.m., 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.
No classes on Tuesdays.
No morning classes on Thursdays.
No afternoon classes on Fridays.
