Athlete of the Week for March Week 1
John "Noah" Allen
Scottsboro High School
Sports: Football & Track
They say a picture can say a thousand words. For John Noah Allen, his game-day photo would say two words to the casual observer…”All business.” This Scottsboro High senior has football running through his blood. He’s played for the past six years and helped his team through a playoff run during two of those seasons. Noah has also carried his strength to track and field, where he has spent the last five years perfecting his javelin throw and his shot-put toss. In the classroom, this wildcat is a straight-shooter when it comes to hitting the books. Noah hasn’t wavered with his GPA; he maintains a strong 3.9 grade-point-average. He is also a member of the National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta National Mathematics Honor Society and has been recognized as a “Star Student” more than five times. From the beginning, Noah had his thoughts in order. He has accomplished the honor of achieving Eagle Scout status. Noah’s also active in student government, Interact Club and has volunteered his time to help with “Relay for Life” and “Tools for Schools.” Having no problem with math, Noah doesn’t hesitate to tutor others in the tough subject of numbers. Congratulations, Noah!
