Athlete of the Week for September Week 1
Mason Rouse
Huntsville High School
3.9 GPA
Sports: Football
Our first Athlete of the Week winner for the new school year has been building an impressive resume for several years. Mason Rouse may be #27 in the Huntsville High School Football game-day program, but he’s at the top when it comes to what he’s accomplished on and off the field. Since taking the field at Huntsville High, he earned a spot on the varsity squad as a sophomore, but more importantly hasn’t forgotten to hit the books. As a scholar-athlete, he’s maintained a 3.9 GPA and a spot on the honor roll. Mason is also active in the National Honors Society, the Spanish and Chemistry clubs and was nominated for the Medal of Honor Award for character and citizenship. Mason also serves as a volunteer for youth organizations and at his church, but really enjoys his summer job as a lifeguard. Congratulations, Mason!
