Athlete of the Week for November Week 4
Hazel Green High School
As young men and women, there always seems to be this ornate need in the back of your mind to hit a ball as hard as you can whenever you see one. That might be the case for our next Athlete of the Week, but then again, it could just be a love of volleyball. Caitlin Brown is our Athlete of the Month for the last week in November and she comes by way of Hazel Green High School. This very active senior loves volleyball. There is no getting around the fact that Caitlin loves volleyball, is very good at volleyball and has been a huge asset for the Lady Trojans volleyball team. She’s currently captain of the Hazel Green squad and has been part of the varsity team since she was a 9th grader. Like hitting the volleyball, Caitlin really hits those books. Off the court, Caitlin has compiled a strong 3.95 GPA and has been on the honor roll her entire high school career. She’s won academic awards with her work in History and French. Caitlin is s strong philanthropist in her community. She’s heavily involved with The Red Cross, she volunteers at her local church nursery and has made mission trips to third-world countries, offering medical treatment and helping to build houses. Congratulations Caitlin!
