Huntsville Havoc and Alabama Hammers
Aaron Ellis is entering his first year as a Licensed Athletic Trainer with Huntsville Hospital, and will be serving as Athletic Trainer for two of Huntsville's professional organizations; the Huntsville Havoc of the Southern Professional Hockey League and the Alabama Hammers of the Professional Indoor Football League. Aaron received his Masters in Educations May 2012 from Alabama A&M University. While attending Alabama A&M, Aaron served as a graduate assistant in the sports medicine program, working exclusively with football, baseball and tennis teams. Prior to arriving in Alabama, Aaron attended North Carolina Central University where he graduated from the Athletic Training Education Program in 2008 with a B.S. in Athletic Training. While attending NCCU, Aaron served as student athletic trainer, working with the baseball and men's and women's basketball teams. Aaron became the first athletic training student in the school's athletic training education program to receive an internship with Duke football, as well as Duke sports medicine clinic under the watch of Dr. Harry Stafford. Upon graduation Aaron became the Head Athletic Medicine Coordinator at Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City North Carolina.
