Get Moving This Summer: New Fitness Programs Launch at Huntsville Hospital Wellness Center in Jones Valley
The Huntsville Hospital Wellness Center in Jones Valley is launching a new lineup of group training classes and programs this summer designed to help community members of all ages build strength, improve fitness and stay active in a supportive environment.

Programs begin in early June and include beginner-friendly strength training, youth fitness, high-energy group workouts and expanded pickleball offerings.
Group Training Classes
Women on Weights (WOW)
A monthly strength and HIIT-based training program designed for women of all fitness levels. Classes begin June 2 and meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 a.m. and noon.

Cost: $80 for eight sessions
Resistance Training 101
A beginner-focused strength training class for those new to lifting or returning to exercise. Sessions begin June 2 and meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-2 p.m. and 3-4 p.m.

Pickleball Programs
Intro to Pickleball
A monthly instructional class covering the basics of pickleball, including scoring, serving, hitting and volleying. Begins June 1 and meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:15-3 p.m.

Cost: $120 for eight sessions
Pickleball Beginners League
A structured beginner league designed for recreational players (2.5-3.0 level). No team required; games are organized by staff. Begins June 2 and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-10 a.m.

Cost: $80 for eight sessions (maximum 16 participants)
Private pickleball lessons are also available for individuals or small groups seeking more personalized instruction.
Youth Programming
Youth Training 101
A beginner strength training program for ages 12-18 focused on safe movement, form and building confidence in the gym. Begins June 2 and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30-11:15 a.m.

Registration and Information
All programs are held at the Huntsville Hospital Wellness Center in Jones Valley. Pickleball training takes place at the Sandra Moon Community Complex. Space is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.
