A few weeks after celebrating her 100^th birthday, Sue Campbell developed a potentially fatal bowel obstruction and was rushed to Huntsville Hospital for emergency surgery. “There was only a little bit of hope,” said Dr. Rony Najjar, the on-call trauma surgeon that night in April 2018.
