Hiring Process

Apply Online

Once you have searched our career site and found a job of interest, click the ‘Apply for this job’ link on the job description page.

Internal Candidates
If you are a Huntsville Hospital Health System employee, your login name is your Huntsville Hospital Health System Employee Identification Number. If this is your first time logging in as an employee, please click the ‘Forgot your password?’ link and enter your company e-mail address to create a new password. You will then receive an email with further instructions.

External Candidates
If you are not a current Huntsville Hospital employee and this is your first time applying for a position with us, you will need to create an account using your email address.

You will then be asked to create an online profile. A resume can be uploaded, and you will complete an application online.

Returning Candidates
If you have created an online profile in the past, click ‘Returning Candidate Login’. Your profile shows the jobs you have applied for and your current status, allows you to update your resume/application and to search and apply for new jobs.

After Applying

You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging that we have received your application. If you don’t receive an email, please check your email spam folder.

The Interview Process

When applying for a position, you may be prompted with screening questions. These questions help our recruiters gauge your skill level, availability and initial qualifications. If we are interested in setting up an initial phone screening or in-person interview, you will be contacted via email or phone. Those selected to move on in the process may be asked to take part in one or more interviews that may include the hiring manger, department leadership and/or HR staff. When a position is filled, any applicant not hired will receive an email indicating that the position is no longer available.

The length of the interview and selection process can vary. Applicants are encouraged to click the ‘Returning User Login’ button to track the status of their application at any point in the hiring process.

New Hires/Onboarding Login

Upon accepting a position, you will receive instructions regarding the Onboard process. New hires must be verified with For more information, check if you have the right to work and E-verify participation.
