Huntsville Hospital Services

Center for Lung Health

Huntsville Hospital's Pulmonary Rehab is a structured program designed to improve the health and well-being of patients with chronic lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, and lung cancer, along with pre-lung and post-lung transplant patients.

Our program includes supervised exercise training, education on lung health, breathing techniques, nutritional guidance, and emotional support. Exercise classes are offered in group settings where patients get the chance to meet others with their condition, which provides an opportunity to give and receive peer support. Our goal is to help our patients manage symptoms such as breathlessness, increase their physical activity, reduce hospital visits, and improve overall quality of life.
